Just to confirm, the meeting is at Conway Hall in Red Lion Square, London tomorrow, Saturday 22nd April. There will be two sessions, 10:00am to 12:00 noon and 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
I would be interested in following the developments of all this ... and I offer to provide photo-reports on future rallies too, as I did with the original one:
Sorry, I was away most of the week, and while I kept a check on my email for the expected confirmation I didn't get a chance to visit this site and so didn't know if it was on or not.
The strength and survival of free society and the advance of human knowledge depend on the free exchange of ideas. All ideas are capable of giving offence, and some of the most powerful ideas in human history, such as those of Galileo and Darwin, have given profound religious offence in their time.
The free exchange of ideas depends on freedom of expression and this includes the right to criticise and mock.
We assert and uphold the right of freedom of expression and call on our elected representatives to do the same.
We abhor the fact that people throughout the world live under mortal threat simply for expressing ideas and we call on our elected representatives to protect them from attack and not to give comfort to the forces of intolerance that besiege them.

It would have been better to announce this a couple of days earlier!
Up to the last minute we were not sure if it was taking place at all!
If it had been confirmed I would have gone ahead and rescheduled work, organized babysitters etc!
Sorry to have missed it! Hope we will get a full resume'
Provinces calling! What happended at the meeting? Is there anything that can be contributed by us out here in the sticks? Are we on the move again?
Aeneas, I went to the eeting and, though there were only a few of us, I reckon we have a good basis for getting a campaign going.
Peter is going to post some news and write to people soon.
Keep the faith. This will turn into an ongoing campaign.

As any campaign is apparently only as good as its acronym, I suggest calling this the CAmpaign for Free Expression (CAFE).

I'll try to make the next one!
