The Seventh Imam

It is extraordinarily appropriate that Sayyida Rend Shakir, our latest speaker, is a descendant of the seventh Imam. In a recent email, Rend explained why:
Musa Al- Kadhim (AS) the 7th Imam: “If there is a walnut in your hand and people say that it is a pearl, their saying will not benefit you in any way when you know that it is actually a walnut. And if there is a pearl in your hand and people say that it is a walnut, their saying will not harm you in any way when you know that it is actually a pearl.”

I think Imam Musa (RA) would have been ashamed of her as well. For your information there are millions of Sayyids in the world, because you have one doesn't mean a thing.

The quote is wonderful and deeply appropriate.

Truth doesn't fear free expression.

Never Anonymous said: Wow, an actual peaceful Muslim. Umm, how advanced is Cloning now? Just wondering....

I agree. Great quote. You know, Ayatollah Khomeini had a great quote: "Those who oppose the mullahs oppose Islam itself; eliminate the mullahs and Islam shall disappear in fifty years. It is only the mullahs who can bring the people into the streets and make them die for Islam-- begging to have their blood shed for Islam."

We really should take him up on that. for the latest on the Islamic Nazis.

Its a shame that the oppressors portray themselves as the victims.

Those grotesque caricatures were nothing more than the first steps towards the genocide of Muslims in Europe.

First comes demonisation, then comes discrimination, then comes fear.....

Europeans haven’t learnt from it's history. The same arguments were used against the Jews, and look what we had.

When they came for the Muslims - I didnt help (instead i prepared their graves).

- For I was not a Muslim

Erm..wait a minute...

When did Jews issue death threats or murder film-makers or kill innocent civilians?

Trying to draw an analogy between European Judeaophobia and today's legitimate fears about militant Islam is a cheap trick.

There is not one single Muslim living in fear of his or her life in Europe, North America or Australasia today.

One Dutch politician and one Dutch film maker were butchered for their views on Islam, one by a Muslim fanatic and one by one their left wing allies, of the type found running

Two Dutch MPs, a British/Indian novellist, a dozen cartoonists, a handful of journalists, a dozen or so commentators on Islam, hundreds of people who have married for love, thousands of apostates all live in fear of attack from Muslims.

The MAC has even threatened violence here if people hold up a poxy cartoon on Saturday.

And now this self-pitying, whinging twat wants us to start feeling sorry for the AGGRESSORS in all this!

Indeed it is.

I agree strongly with the comments made by Steve and Anonymous (7.32pm.)

'An Afghan man is being prosecuted in a Kabul court and could be sentenced to death on a charge of converting from Islam to Christianity, a judge said this weekend.'

A bit of a sideways move if you ask me but couldn't they just try an ASBO?

"Those grotesque caricatures were nothing more than the first steps towards the genocide of Muslims in Europe."

And who exactly is calling for the genocide of the Jews right now?

Answer: Muslims

Islam is just Nazism - but with an Allah death-cult flavour.

sorry about my last comment, but i just got pissed off with Abu Shauyb's comment that we Europeans are planning a genocide of Muslims.

I should have said "the Mullahs" or "those nutters ruling Saudi" instead.

I have no beef with the peaceful, freedom loving Muslims who have fled their Islamic tyrannys to settle here in the UK.

Walking through Hyde Park in London is amazing - its like a United Nations, but for free. I have no problem with that.

What I have a problem with are the likes of the MCB trying to introduce sharia law by the back door, under the guise of "religious offense". These idiots cant understand that one of the fundemental pillars of Western freedom is the right to critique and lampoon ANY religion.

And it is these same freedoms that allow them to build mosques in the West.

That is why , if I was attending the march, I'd be carrying a "Free Abu Hamza" placard. He was imprisoned for what he said. But like Voltaire, much as I totally disagree with what he said, I will defend his right to say it.

That is freedom.

Abu Shuayb should really inform himself better. No one is threatening Muslims with genocide. What in fact is happening and has happened is a lot of genocidal acts committed by Muslims. In the Sudan a Muslim regime has butchered 2 million Animists and Christians in its efforts to impose on them the delights of sharia law. Being a Christian in so called moderate Egypt is like being a turkey at Christmas all year long. And so on...

One of the sadest things about Islam is that whenever it looks in a mirror it only ever seems to see perfection or a victim. How much further out of it can you get than that?. Makes you wanna cry and laugh.

After the response I wrote, it was interesting to see, the stereotypical responses made against Muslims and Islam. And some of the venom was clear. This is no march for free speech, but against Islam.

I tell you as a Muslim, living in the UK, I live in daily fear. People are afraid of me, stares on public transport. My wife abused verbally, even spat at. I fear for my children and never let them out alone.

I am thinking of leaving this country, where I was born and grew up as a result. Probably to the joy of many here.

My neighbour, who is a holocaust survivor, has told me, that what 'intellectuals', the media in general (although there are exceptions) have said about Islam, is reminiscent of what her community, the Jewish community went through in the 20's and 30's. And not just in Germany. It's a shame.

To all those defenders of the indefensible, and to the defenders of what has been called a religion of peace, please take a look to see just what is done in the name of that religion.(as if you don't know)
It makes Milosovitch seem like St. Francis.
Just remember these "people" are now living in Europe with EU passports.
We must all have a f.... deathwish.
It won't be long before we will reap the bad seed we have allowed to be sown.
Just keep smokin your spliffs and sticking your heads where the sun don't shine.
A word to the "moderate Muslims"
from viv stanshall...(god bless him)
