I'm appalled that the petition is going so badly! I thought we'd have thousands by now. Needs a big push. Has everyone spammed their entire contacts file? I have!

I think the reason you've not had the support you expect is because people (including muslims) support freedom of expression but against racism. If you don't like someone to swear or degrade your father then why allow yourself to do this with muslims prophet which is to them more than just a father?

Free Expression is a fundamental right that we all respect. But issue behind the pictures of Prophet Muhammed SAW (PBUH) are a matter of respect. No Muslim opposes freedom of speech, expression, freedom of anything! It's essential in the lives of everyone, Muslims & non Muslims.

The Danish pictures of our Prophet go beyond what Muslims believe & this is that Allah & Muhammed SAW (PBUH, or any other prophet for that matter, should be depicted in image form as this leads to idolising of that picture instead of God.

Even Hollywood respected Islam's belief & did have a character representing Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) in it's film, The Messenger.

I am not against your protest against "Free Expression". But to me it seems that your protest is more an attack on Islam, what Muslims believe, Shiria law, etc. rather than your belief that your freedom to express yourself isn't being upheld!

There are 2 types of freedom.

Freedom TO and Freedom FROM.

The Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights enshrine these freedoms as inalienable rights. These documents are the very foundation of all other law. They CANNOT be repealed, rescinded or circumscribed. The Magna Carta gives british citizens the RIGHT to take up arms and fight any government or monarchy, or anyone else, that attempts to do so.

Freedom TO; express an opinion - whatever it is, to speak, draw, paint, wear what clothes you like, practise what religion you like, etc, etc.

Freedom FROM; tyrrany, oppression, invasion, religious doctrine, the laws of foreign countries, etc, etc

In Christian Britain, there is no 'prophet' called mahommed, Jesus is our last Prophet. In Democratic Britain there is no such thing as sharia law. Laws are made by our elected parliament and adopted from the EU, not anywhere else.

Great Britain will always be FREE, always.

So do u not believe in the law your Bible has set out? Isnt't the Bible a way of life or is man made laws a better way of life?? If you believe Jesus is your last prophet then why is it we don't follow the Bible today but man made laws that are always changing in parliament! Did you know that the Iraq War has actually broken the Law so what Law are we suppose to follow if we're not even following it??

The bible is a sick joke, as is the koran.

Nobody with a sense of morality would believe that crap.

if you dont believe the Bible, then you must not believe in hell. Of course, you dont have to believe in it to go there when you die.

U'v passed judgement about the Bible & Quran being "a joke". I'd like to know whether u'v even ever read the Bible...let along the Quran??!!! Somehow i doubt it. Ur very ignorant to have made a comment like that.
Educate urself & then maybe, just maybe ur mind will broaden a little!
